wrote alot.... and one of the things he wrote has been in my head the past couple days....

" You don't HAVE a soul. You ARE a soul, you HAVE a Body. "

There was a period of time when alot of the thinkie-types of the world were very much concerned about teh difference between the body and the soul.

One of my dad's favorite author's wrote a book called " Ardistan and Djinistan" effectively...the land of the body and the land of the soul.

Its an allegory but its a good read.

That book went so far as to describe a " Spirit Forge " where a soul get pounded like molten steel until its refined into a higher grade of Spirit... the difference being that Spirit has more influential and life altering powers than a a mere soul.

Juxtaposed with all of this are some lines from the movie about the life of martial artist Bruce Lee..

" What are you majoring in?

" Philosophy. "

" What can you do with that? "

" Think DEEP THOUGHTS about being unemployed. "

... So much of what we do EVERYDAY is geared towards what our body's dictate....

I'm hungery

I'm turned on

I'm tired

I'm sore


Time to start taking time out to take care of my soul so I'm not a bastard asshole fucking meanie!

Because that's what happens....when your soul gets abused or neglected.
